In a recent interview, I was asked about my early life, the allegations against me, and my future plans. This interview clears up everything and helps to fight the propaganda created by certain people who do not like my views on some issues.
In a question about what motivated me to move from Karachi to the United States, I shared that it was not really my decision. Coming from a family rich in education, values, and faith, I was not happy moving to the US.
Moreover, the way my firm has distinguished itself in a competitive market must be incredible for the youth. I completed various Wall Street qualification exams and later established my own bank. The full-service investment banking license was the first ever issued to a Muslim on Wall Street. With years of experience, I have financed small and mid-sized companies across America. Such skills led my firm to expand on Wall Street.
A Defining Experience of My Journey
Talking about my allegations in the US, I mentioned that no evidence supported the accusations. Moreover, the main reason was introducing the concept of Islamic finance. In Pakistan, I was clearly targeted due to my political views since financial misconduct is structurally impossible.
When I was going through a rough phase at the age of 34, that was the turning point of my career. General Musharraf’s Government invited me, and I later stepped down as an Advisor to the Federal Government. I also highlighted the importance of maintaining transparency in financial advisory practices, emphasizing that the public must not act on guidance from anyone who has not gained proper certification.
I write and speak for what I perceive will resonate with the audience because they have the power to read, judge, and decide.
Managing Public Perception With a Positive Approach
My journey sums up the importance of dealing with challenges by creating opportunities for yourself and maintaining a positive mindset. Being an author of six books and over 800 articles, I still want to write and leave behind numerous pieces of writing from which readers can learn from my experiences.
